Fruit of my Spirit
Reframing in God's Grace
written by Deanna Nowadnick

I have been blessed by the writer to read and review her First Book!!!

It is a small book but it is filled with a large and very important subject which is:
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no love" Galatians 5:22-23
Gee, what would the world be like if we all strive for these fruits ! ?!

As I have stated before, i usually read the introduction and prefaces of each book i read..and to my surprise was blessed by being taken into Deanna's life as if i knew her personally....At first I felt a little odd about it but, then I just did not want to stop reading...Deana shares with such honesty and openness...was immediately wanting to read more !

In some insistence's I could relate to, in some i could not only because we have no children, but thats okay....It did not, in any way keep me from wanting to read more.
After chapter one titled "Agape-Greek  meaning Love,
The inexplicable love of God" I was hooked  !

In the following Chapter all titled after each character attributes of the Fruit of The Holy Spirit, Deanna uses the Greek word with a description. ...loved it !
She shares parts of her life and how God showed her how to live by His Word, which to me makes it more real and what a blessing to know i am not alone in learning to let go and let God help me daily.

It is not a long drawn out explanation, which I find unnerving, but a simple way to see how His Holy Word and Spirit can work in and through us daily..when we pay attention..AMEN !?!

Deanna also shares some very sweet pictures before each chapter that i find refreshing because it also brought  me closer to her and her writing.
This is an easy read yet filled with some powerful teachings...filled with heart and much love for our God .

I HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone...
I was blessed  by God to be able to read and share this to you all
And pray you will do the same.... get a copy as soon as you can.

Yahweh,I pray that You will continue to bless and engulf Deanna with more wisdom to write as many books as she can. Gods Peace. In Jesus Name Amen.

Trusting God - A Girlfriends In God Faith Adventure

“Just trust me.” Those are the words we hear in movies just before something bad is about to happen. And yet, we are told to trust God. In a culture where we’re taught to take control of our own lives, trusting God has become a religious platitude rather than a life-changing attitude. We say it, but do we really mean it? And what does trusting God really look like?
The Girlfriends in God ministry team–Sharon, Mary, and Gwen–have been there. They’ve traveled the tough roads of life to discover the peace and power that comes from grabbing the hand of God and trusting his plan. They’ve combined spiritual truths with practical application to make trusting God a reality for any woman willing believe. Through the devotions and action steps found in these pages, Sharon, Mary and Gwen invite you to lock arms with them and other women around the world to experience the exciting journey of discovering personal peace in the ups and down of life.
Trusting God combines inspirational devotions with a 12-week Bible study guide. The life stories bring laughter and sometimes tears, but always spiritual growth. Each of the 12 weeks concludes with a Bible study guide and journal page, inviting you to share with other women in a small group setting or individually in your own personal quiet time with God. When you find the soul-rest you’ve been longing for at the feet of our sovereign God, you’ll never want to go back and take control again.

 Blog Goals
1~Most important, if I can point anyone to God and His word,my number one goal has been fulfilled, knowing HE alone will be Glorified.
 2~To be encouraging and positive.
3~I want to share what I believe God wants me to share.
4~When I write on this blog I am not desiring responses, but really grateful and encouraged to receive them.
5~This blog is not about my day to day life.
6~If I can make someone smile, that's good too!
As much as I enjoy blogging, my family mustn't lose out because I'm glued to the computer.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"
2 Timothy 3:16
This scripture is the goal for this blog!

God LOVES you and offers a wonderful PLAN for your life.

God's Love
"God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son,
that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16)

God's Plan
[Christ speaking] "I came that they might have life, and might have it abundantly"[that it might be full and meaningful] (John 10:10)

Why is it that most people are not experiencing the abundant life?
Because...Man is SINFUL and SEPARATED from God.Therefore,
he cannot know and experience God's love and plan for his life.

Man Is Sinful
"All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23)

Man was created to have fellowship with God; but, because of his stubborn self-will,
he chose to go his own independent way, and fellowship with God was broken. This self-will,characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference,
is an evidence of what the Bible calls sin.

Man Is Separated
"The wages of sin is death" [spiritual separation from God]
(Romans 6:23)

The third law explains the only way to bridge this gulf...
Jesus Christ is God's ONLY provision for man's sin.
Through Him you can know and experience God's love and plan for your life.

He Died in Our Place
"God demonstrates His own love toward us,in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us" (Romans 5:8)

He Rose From the Dead
"Christ died for our sins...He was buried...He was raised on the third day, according to the Scriptures...He appeared to Peter, then to the twelve. After that He appeared to more than five hundred..." (1 Corinthians 15:3-6)

He Is the Only Way to God
"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life;
no one comes to the Father, but through Me'" (John 14:6)

It is not enough just to know these three things...
We must individually RECEIVE Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord;
then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives.

We Must Receive Christ
"As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God,even to those who believe in His name" (John 1:12)

We Receive Christ Through Faith
"By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves,it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast"
(Ephesians 2:8,9).

When We Receive Christ, We Experience a New Birth (Read John 3:1-8.)

We Receive Christ by Personal Invitation
[Christ speaking] "Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him"
(Revelation 3:20)

Receiving Christ involves turning to God from self (repentance) and trusting
Christ to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us what He wants us to be.
Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for our sins is not enough.Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience.

We receive Jesus Christ by faith, as an act of the will.

The following explains how you can receive Christ:
You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer
(Prayer is talking to God)
God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as
He is with the attitude of your heart.

The following prayer is not to be repeated word for word but just an example:

"Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins.
I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord.
Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life.
Take control of the throne of my life.
Make me the kind of person You want me to be.
in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Name.Amen."
Ask the Lord God to come into your life and Christ will,as He promised.

THIS IS THE FIRST STEPS TO BEING BORN AGAIN AND BY NO MEANS DO YOU STOP HERE.
To know the Lord God and His ways....
DAILY read HIS Word (The Bible), pray (talking and listening to God)
Submit your life, thoughts, mind, body and soul to Him every day.
Repent(turn away from/stop doing wrong) of all your sins, take up your cross and follow HIM.
Walk in His Spirit and in HIS Truth.
Find others who are followers of Christ Jesus and His Word,
meet with them as often as possible.
We believe the Sabbath is on Saturday...many meet on Sundays
but according to Gods Word in Exodus 20:8~11 God says...

"8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.9Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it."
